The committee would still like to expand the number of players in the orchestra. At present it is an orchestra of Classical proportions and usually has to engage professional players when performing works from the Romantic or modern periods. We would like to increase the size of the orchestra so that this becomes unnecessary and are therefore looking for brass players.

There are currently vacancies for a first bassoon player and for all string players.

Membership fees are currently set at £60 (£50 for Concessions; £10 for Students) per term of 12 rehearsals leading to a concert.
