Covid-19 Precautions

  • All entry is by pre-bookings through the Hitchin Festival ticketing system, which asks for contact details and a name for each ticket. Please bring evidence of your ticket purchase (printed at home or on a mobile device) so names can be checked on entry. There will be no ticket sales at the door.

  • Please don’t attend the concert if you or anyone in your household are experiencing Covid-19 symptoms, or if you have been asked to self-isolate due to contact with a positive case. See the Hitchin Festival box office terms and conditions here.

  • Doors will open at 7pm. Please queue following social distancing guidelines and enter the church only when there is sufficient space. Entrance will be via the south door of the church only. If you use the Test & Trace Covid-19 app, please scan the QR code on entering the building.

  • Audience members must bring a face covering to wear at all times in the building (unless under the age of 11 or exempt for health/disability reasons). The face covering must safely cover the nose and mouth and fit securely round the sides of the face.

  • Socially distanced seating, singly or in bubbles, will be allocated on arrival by front-of-house stewards. Please move directly to your seat without socialising with other concertgoers.

  • If you require a cushion please bring your own as the church kneelers are currently not available.

  • The concert will last around one hour, with no interval. At the end of the concert please exit the church directly and maintain a social distance from other concertgoers.

  • Hand sanitiser will be provided at key locations.

  • There will be toilet access in Church House before the concert.
